ABSTRACT

This project investigates why the second Red Bull Racing driver consistently loses performance relative to teammate Max Verstappen by identifying where lap time deficits occur on track. The central hypothesis is that the Second Red Bull drivers likely lose the most time in high speed corners because of lack of commitment to the daredevil set-up tailored for Max Verstappen, and we need to find out whether the second Red Bull’s discrepancy is due to the car vs. the driver.
